We have grown orchids since 1980 where we started our business in Bielefeld-Brackwede. In 1993, we moved to Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock (between Bielefeld in Paderborn), where we found a larger greenhouse and more space for our orchids. Our main aim is the artificial reproduction of rare orchid species. In addition to the plants of our own production, we also offer attractive orchid hybrids in the latest and most elegant colours. If you are looking for an attractive present, we also supply special cachepots and tasteful decoration material.

Entering our nursery, you first step into the main sales area. In this greenhouse, we present a large choice of flowering and easy to cultivate orchids in manifold colours. You can also buy some of these orchids online via this homepage. This greenhouse is not a sales room in the common sens, but presents the exotic plants in a decorated and tropical atmosphere. Hence, your visit to our nursery is not only shopping, but a small trip to a tropical place with orchid friendly climate. Please note that some orchids in the show booths are not for sale. We regularly present our show and mother plants. You can also find a large choice or orchid accessoires, like special orchid pots/cachepots for Phalaenopsis, Odontoglossum, Oncidium, Brassia and the other orchid genera that you find in our greenhouses. The wide range of orchid accessories that we offer includes our own brands Orchi Mix (orchid potting material), Orchi Fit (orchid fertilizer), hangers, pots, baskets, labels, other potting materials, sphagnum and much more. In the next greenhouse, the show room, you can find a wide range of flowering and non flowering orchid species and hybrids. The size of the plants goes from young plant to an adult plant that is ready to flower. Of course you can also buy these orchids online on this homepage.

The rear greenhouses are the rooms for our own production and will only be opened for the Open Doors weekends in June and November. Thank you for your comprehension. We need to practise patient orchid growing which enables us to offer you constantly a wide range of new products. For this, we also need a laboratory in which the reproduction of rare orchid species begins.

Our laboratory is specialized in the sowing of new hybrids and rare orchid species. We keep on improving the medium for they can only flower soon if they grow fast in the flask. This know-how requires many years of experience in orchid sowing. Still, the long way from the flask to the beautiful flower does not only require much knowledge and work, but also patience. This proces can demand from four to seven years, or even more for particular genera. We offer the orchid sowing service for amateurs who would like to grow capsules at home.
